Compression socks test: Pro Compression vs Zensah</p>
<p>After I started running, I learned that many runners wore compression socks or sleeves. Do I need them? Should I try them? After a couple of runs (&amp; barely walking the following day), I remembered I had some light compression socks from when I worked the counter as a pharmacist. So, after a marathon, I wore those and felt much better. If those old things helped, then I needed to look for better!</p>
<p>I have purchased a pair of ProCompression &amp; Zensah compression socks to see which I like best. I placed one of each brand on each leg after running a normal 13 mile run. Here is my comparison:</p>
<p>Both pairs were conveniently ordered on-line &amp; arrived at my home within days.</p>
<p>Both pairs were $50 each, however, I got 40% off my ProCompression socks and I only got 30% off my Zensah socks (after FINALLY finding a discount code - thanks to #RunChat).</p>
<p>Both pairs are size Medium (I typically wear a size 9 shoe).</p>
<p>And yes, both pairs are hard to put on&#8230;.</p>
<p>The ProCompression foot part can be a bit large and you have to line up correctly to fit comfortably and the sleeve part comes all the way up to my knee (~1/2 &#8221; too high &amp; I have long legs; I&#8217;m 5&#8217;11&#8221;). The Zensah socks fit me like a glove; perfection.</p>
<p>The ProCompression socks are thinner material compared to the Zensah brand, so the Zensah brand seems to provide tighter compression. </p>
<p>Another difference is that the Zensah brand has comfy cushion on the bottom of the foot part. Comfy!</p>
<p>And lastly&#8230;. Aren&#8217;t those argyles pretty? I&#8217;m wearing these babies to work under trousers!</p>
<p>Honestly, I can tell a difference, &amp; personally, I prefer the Zensah brand. I&#8217;m searching for another discount code so I can try the sleeves while running this winter. Run comfortably!

I have purchased a pair of ProCompression & Zensah compression socks to see which I like best. I placed one of each brand on each leg after running a normal 13 mile run. Here is my comparison:

Both pairs were conveniently ordered on-line & arrived at my home within days.

And yes, both pairs are hard to put on….

The ProCompression foot part can be a bit large and you have to line up correctly to fit comfortably and the sleeve part comes all the way up to my knee (~1/2 ” too high & I have long legs; I’m 5’11”). The Zensah socks fit me like a glove; perfection.

Another difference is that the Zensah brand has comfy cushion on the bottom of the foot part. Comfy!

And lastly…. Aren’t those argyles pretty? I’m wearing these babies to work under trousers!

Honestly, I can tell a difference, & personally, I prefer the Zensah brand. I’m searching for another discount code so I can try the sleeves while running this winter. Run comfortably!

Compression Sock Review – Zensah

Below is a review by Mike A. from San Diego, CA

I recently had an opportunity to test Zensah Compression Socks and wanted to share my experience. First let me begin my compression sock review by saying that I am not stranger to compression. I have tried several brands, and wow, what difference with the Zensah Compression Socks.

Neon Green Compression Socks

Neon Green Compression Socks

Zensah Compression Socks are available in over 15 colors – both fun neon colors and argyle patterns. I opted for the neon green compression socks. The compression socks are made in Italy. The quality becomes very apparent as you as you put them on. As soon as they are on your feet, you realize that these are not ordinary compression socks. I also appreciated the padded heel and toe in each pair of the compression socks.

For those note familiar with how compression socks work, I wanted to take the opportunity to briefly explain in the review. The compression socks feature the greatest amount of compression in the ankle area and less in the calf area. This increase blood flow, and as a result, provides the muscles in body with more of the oxygen it needs to recover. Athletes are then able to train harder since their recover time is decreased.

I wore the compression socks on several runs. I found that they worked very well. To sum up on my compression sock review, Zensah has become my go-to choice for compression socks.
